What size hose do you use. Most say microbore yet loads of suppliers don't sell it.

Gardiners Thermobore for cold use been using it for 18 months now and still going strong . Mike

I've used Streamline 8mm Microbore for the last few years, it's been brilliant.

Never kinks, very hard wearing. Has been run across roads many times and is still perfectly fine.

i had the streamline hose and was quality however i just swapped for the gardiners stuff and for the first few days it seemed a pain, felt sticky etc but now its spot on!

+1 I've got the same hose,brilliant with cold water,wouldn't buy something else

But has anyone used steamline 6mm

I use the hi viz bright green 8mm stuff from Pure Freedom. Good stuff, and always gets commented on!!

I've used 8mm, it is ok. I now use 6mm, I much prefer it.

It's lighter, easier to handle, you can get more of it on the hose reel.

Maybe it's not as robust, but it's so cheap (think I paid about £30 for 100 metres) you can easily just get a new lot every 6 months if you have to.

For me, lightness and ease of use trumps everything for something as cheap as hose.
