Clabber Hose Reel your opinion
« on: June 20, 2014, 12:07:03 pm »
hi guys ive allways used these types of hose reels.... and usually when they start to wear the they become useless and im fedup of paying out for window cleaning equipment they don't come cheap. so was just wondering how good or bad are the clabber metal hose reel. those you use it please give us a reply.. my main concern is how do you attach the hose to the reel. using the hose reel in the picture above you use a 6mm metal bit (see picture) which is then fastened onto the hosereel..... using jubilee clips which makes it proper tight and secure so was just wondering what method is used for securing the hose onto those clabber hose reels.Thanks.

Claber reels are very good for the money, i've attached mine to a plank of wood to make it more stable.

i am pleased with my clabber hose reel, good hose reel in my opinion and light.

you would need this from the hose reel to the hose(microbore or minibore)

and this from the hose reel to your pump:

or even better you buy the hose reel with the connection pack:

We've used two of them for about three-or-four years now; no problems with either.

i also use one of each, initially i purchased the clabber as a temporary measure to get the wife up and running. its proved to be excellent. i would have no hesitation whatsoever in purchasing another

I've had mine for a couple of years and really good. I use 30m of minibore and 50m of pole hose so not really giving it a good kicking!  ;D
