spring,summer/autumn,winter set up
« on: June 06, 2014, 01:49:07 pm »
this is for the op in another thread regarding autumn/winter working.i have 2 set ups.

spring/summer       claber reel & 100m of standard microbore(cold water)

autumn/winter   redashe reel & 90m of thermobore plus & L5 heater & 13kg gas bottle

i find hot water in winter more comfortable to use, easier hoses and your hoses wont freeze on the ground.i also use stiffer bristle brushes with hot water.it helps keep your hands warm too!windows dry quicker with hot compared to cold and sheet better.

broom and ice melt/grit in van on minus temperature days and an oil filled radiator in van overnight on freezing nights.i also change pole hose on my main pole to red aqua-daptor hose which is excellent with hot water.

currently i dont have my heater fitted in the van but come october itll take me around 30 mins to fit and be ready for the winter.

Dazmond and his two set-ups  ::)roll.....don't you mean........

Always handy to have a Spring/Summer set-up for when the too hot water in the Autumn/Winter set-up ruins the hose..... ;)  ;D.
