Marvellous new invention
« on: June 05, 2014, 06:43:27 pm »
I came across an amazing bit of kit today it enables the user to clean gutters and many other things. Basically it's two lengths of aluminium beam joined together with smaller pieces of aluminium about every foot apart. Fantastic bit of kit. I could reach downpipes and clear them with ease, even look inside the 's' bend. I'm sure it would have many more uses. I used it last week when three feet of guttering fell off when I was cleaning with my carbon super dooper £800 pole.

The simple designs are always the best.  ;)

Oi!

That's a rip off of my "elevation hightification maker".

My design is wooden though.

Can't be - all the big DIY stores have started stocking them - I saw them with my own eyes. I think it's really going to catch on - far cheaper than those old fashioned vacuum cleaner things for £1000 a pop. You can even clean windows off them apparently, although I don't fancy trying.

Last time I seen one of those it was in a George Formby movie.
Its very handy if you want to clean windows and play an ukulele at the same time.

And if it did, using it would be illegal anyway.

He's got 'em back, Mr Griffin.  You can now stand easy.

They were 'Orrible things anyway.  Any job that required them, I'd rather not do, so didn't.  There's easier ways of earning than lugging those about.
