« on: May 22, 2014, 06:17:23 pm »
If using standard tap water straight into my tank with only a resin bottle to purify it does anyone know what i could get the TDS down to, ive probably got about 20 litres of pure left in my tank and I need about 100 to finish off a job.
I dont want to mix it if its got no chance of getting down.

di resin will get it down to zero, unless it is extremely hard water, the only issue is that the higher the tds, the quicker you will go through the resin. I used to be di only, but the water i was using at the time had a tds reading of about 55ppm.
