Horrendous day. Had a problem with van on Sat and drove it till Monday evening after which I daren't. Anyway it was in yesterday for a scheduled cam belt change and they sorted out the other problem. I went to the wildlife park and had a lovely day - blazing sun. Back to work today and it was just 'orrible. Very heavy rain but did the jobs I had (all custies who I knew were out or were not bothered it was raining).

Forecast for tomorrow is sh*t here and Sat looks poor too. Looks like an expensive month with less than target revenue :-(

I am up to speed and have the time. My round being as it is, i can have plenty of time off during the month. I plan to work tomorrow and if i manage, i will then be off for about a week. I can do this every month if the weather allows it ;D

You were lucky - mate of mine had to stop on M5 'cos rain was so heavy.
Didn't rain much here at all but the lightning was crackling about for a bit.

Everyone runs their business their own way. I have made a business decision not to clean in the rain as my custies don't like it , and neither do I. I leave spare days in the month so it doesn't usually affect me, but this month it's different. Has worked well for me for 5 years so far. And I love the days off during the week when a day I've left spare is lovely and sunny. There again I've no mortgage or kids so I might be something of an unusual case .

sat in the van with my dog, shame he crapped himself and was cowering on my lap.  we had a big crack in front of us and then a big hit about 50 yards behind us and then hail.

20 minutes later blue skies. So we did a new clean and went home.

Just as well. You would probably just leave brush marks and spots everywhere.  ;D

More to life than money!
I could earn another ten grand a year if I worked every day and Saturdays. No point really I've done all that in my previous life.

Horses for courses Ben. That's also a nice position to be in, especially if you actually like the little blighters.
