Hang on, I'm just popping out for some popcorn
Horses for courses bud. End of the day, we're in business. Making the most money in the shortest time (for most) is the only constant. There are pro's & con's if both methods. Depending on how your list falls dictates which path you take. To the lads making good money WFPing though, it is a wrong assumption to make thinking all tradders are 'ladder monkeys' & 'doley's', I know some who make a very good living from trad. Same as I know a few dossers poling.
my mop and blade do come out and get used nearly every day for certain work but its only the odd windows here and there.once you get into your stride with wfp there is no going back providing you have a big enough tank. i have 500L of pure to take with me to work every day.perfect size for wfpoling all day for me.
Hello guys, the topic says the most. Here is an infographic with a comparison between the WFP and Traditional method, hope this will be interesting for you - http://www.reddit.com/r/cleaning/comments/264ld8/water_fed_poles_vs_traditional_window_cleaning/It's a little survey of around 100 window cleaners from UK. I'd be more than happy if it helped some of you make a choice.
You just can't beat a properly conducted scientific survey with peer reviewed statistics can you.
I have never done traditional, but i have no opinions that wfp is 'superior', it is just a different way of doing it. Having said that, there is no way i would be working up a ladder for the kind of money tradders work for!. Even if i wanted to, i couldn't work my round traditional, it is too spread out. The travel costs would outweigh the profits. But at the end of the day, each to there own Hi Simon, you mention above you have never done traditional, how do you clean inside windows when requested bycustomers ?
