I was meaning in general, it may have looked like I was referring to you as I started off with the knocking something else of the shelf. The point I was trying to make is everyone has different preferences, and different ways of working and choice has to be there to satisfy these differences. Same goes for companies selling the exact same thing like the Unger and Ettore brass squeegee, but I bet some people prefer one to the other, and imagine how much they would have cost if only one company had been selling them. Although the Brass squeegee was the same other things would come into play like the ease of buying, the rubber in the squeegee, the customer service of the people selling it, the delivery time. Choice is good for the consumer, without it we have no choice:)
