im asking because about 2 weeks ago i struck off  every customer of a certain ethnic persuasion [ the polite way of saying it!]  from my round  ,not because im racist,but for mental health reasons - they were driving me mad

  anyhow somebody called  Mrs Mutepfa  has jus emailed me ,asking can i clean her windows

I'm very relaxed about it, I feel sorry for you that you judge a whole group of people by colour, race, and surnames, rather than individuals

 but  its a cultural thing,  i tried,god knows how i tried [ 6 yrs in many cases that must add up to 1000s of windows ]    but i failed to get them on my side

  just like to say iv had excellent advice on this forum, now im not backpeddling , im telling u guys are salt of the earth and im just speaking how i find -   i find u lot to be a wealth of info and really decent  people.

, when i first joined i was a tit with a quickie squeegee [ boasted about it too! now thats sad ]  and used old towel cut ups .  and its been nice knowing you all too

I personally don't think he is being racist. Every country is different. How many of you have said Americans are fat or loud, Italians are fiery or the Dutch are arrogant. The nationality of the people Robert is referring to like to barter, and can come across as being awkward to us (the British public) but the is how they are culturally.

If they are causing him stress, then it his his choice wether he was to carry on providing a service for them.

Dave Willis, i like your style.  I can hear my grandma singing this rhyme with absolutely no malice intended whatsoever. It was just something that she was taught as a child and subsequently sung to her grandchildren.

Funnily enough, it came up over dinner tonight. I have 2 kids (5year old boy and 2 year old girl). My boy started signing the song and I asked him for the second verse. He said, catch a spider by the toe.

I then asked my wife if she knew the offensive version. She replied with catch a baby on the Poe.
