stuart, DA is not rotary, there is a huge different.
no way to make any damage or get any heat, more safe then rotary,
 rpm given to them is not rpm of rotary, it is oscilation of the pad.
thats why (for example) amatour detailers are going first for DA machine then rotary

and thats why I prefer rotary then any DA machine for upholstery, rotary agitate better.


the white rota brush is very fine, you would need to agitate paper to make any damage, the yellow one is for more stuborn dirt and fabrics that can take it and most will do.

Ive been using one of the DA Polishers for about a year with brilliant results use the soft brush on upholstery and hard brush on stairs had no problems at all.

simon i have a couple of different sets of brushes and use it for upholstery and stairs, its a nice tool to use.

Agree with the last 3 posts been been using for years never had a problem I use the soft uphol on Rolls Bentlys etc never had a problem. DA is Orbital not a Rotary.

Rechargeable Bosch drill and brushes which I think CSUK sells now although at the time I had to buy from the states.
You can vary the speed by how much pressure you exert on the trigger.

I think Derek West has a micro borg as I saw that ore somthing similar in that video he put together notlong ago , ive just been in touch with a local  distributer with the view of purchasing one
