Who does the  best price for 25 litre jerry cans? Come across a few at £5 + vat ish, but the delivery seems very steep. Is it best to look locally at caravan supply shops etc? I prefer jerrycans to drums simply because of the ability to maximise use of load space.

Try your nearest large Asda, they have them for about £4, in the sports and camping section

Go to a big industrial estate nad ask at warehouses that use fork trucks - if they run electric trucks they will use de -ionised water from barrels and will be glad to offload the empties - a good supply and all ready clean.

Failing that I think printers use them aswell, worth an ask.

Chemical companies will sell them quite cheap as they buy lorry loads of them.  What they do is get the chemicals delivered in IBC tanks and transfer it into smaller containers to sell on.

The time you spend chasing around will cost you more than paying the postage to buy them.
I bought mine from Cleantech and the carriage wasn't that much.
