They can afford to have a window cleaner every day as they are exempt from paying road tax, council tax and rent.

Gypsy's are exempt from paying road tax? That's a new one. Would you mind linking the .gov website with details of this exemption, thanks.

or until one of the travellers realises there is a quick £330 to be made every 2 weeks OR

one randomly decides to become a window cleaner comes on here to learn a bit and sees mick has called them all pikeys  ;D

But until that day nice one mate you certainly know how to get work, I just dont have the drive anymore.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

I too would be saying the same things about them nickin vans and equipment etc however its not like that at all when your there, its a nice country environment and so clean in there, they all have a chat with me feeding me sandwiches/rolls and making me tea and coffee the whole time im there! Verey friendly not how id imagine them being at all, just a bit hard to understand them talking which makes them sound rough as well as how they dress making them look rough.
I cant see gypsys starting a window cleaning round, they know the majority dont like them or trust them plus the men say its a womans job to do the windows but as a ladder is needed and the women dont want to go up a ladder then all the better for me. No domestic houses want 2 weekly round here ever yet all the gypsys do which defo says something about how home proud they are, i was verey shocked how clean and how everything was in place in there homes..  Messy bar stuards everywhere else though with there flytipping etc or out getting roudy when in the pubs with there groups.
As for them paying tax etc, who am i to giva a damn!! As long as they pay me and are nice and genuine then ill carry on providing a service for them.

Your right, If there's one thing they're good at its lulling you into a false sense of security.
I learned that to my cost.

In my area there is a cul-de-sac with 5 houses, and a caravan parked where a house (now demolished) stands.

They are all travellers (all the same family). This cul-de-sac looks quite intimidating, and I have been told that few people are welcome there. I was originally approached by another member of their family to go go there to clean the windows.

Over two years later I still clean all of them, including the caravan, and have never had any problems at all with any of them.

Actually, I had my tyres let down by one of the children there a couple of months ago. The young reprobate's dad sorted that out for me (and the lad presumably), and we had a good laugh about it.

In other words, treat them with respect and they are fine.

No, I've gone off the black stuff for a bit; it's more of a winter drink.
The best thing to put in Guinness is brandy but then it's hard to drink it without.
That would explain a lot of my posts.
