Is there anybody on here that purely do the one off type jobs, driveways, gutters, roofs etc??

I know your advertising would have to be pretty constant and cover a larger area, maybe a 20-30 mile radius, but that doesnt bother me.

The other benefit is that you will get your money in lump sums rather that 10/15£ here and there all the time in dris and drabs if you know what i mean?

Would also quite enjoy the variety

Lol. I only know off a couple of conservatory roof cleaning companies local to me. Don't know how they get on.

We did a job recently and they quoted £350 todo the outside only. We quoted £79 and
It took a little over an hour.

How weird is that, you was mentioned Great outdoors and in, or something along those lines. But we didnt ask for the quotes, we just asked how many are we up against.

if you have a good website,SEO.constantly put 1000s of leaflets out every month with a good leaflet design advertising your services then yes you can do well with these services.

obviously you have to keep spending and be prepared to travel a bit to do the work but the money is better and in lump sums instead of dribs and drabs.£400-£500 a day is not uncommon.the work is harder generally than maintenance window cleaning,can be more dangerous esp if your jetwashing roofs etc.

but if you dont mind the extra expenses on fuel and advertising go for it.

In general a one off is better cos you charge more just had a townhouse inquiry normal price is £20 2 monthly asked she wanted a one off so £50 that's like 6 months worth of takings for one job in 6 months she will prolly want it again so it works out the same as £20x 6 pretty much or £20 less per year but 2 cleans instead of 6
One offs are just as good as regulars as long as we charge them correctly!

I advertizes one off as a standard service. AS the rounds are boring so to brake this  I do many offs jobs as well s my round.This month I have only worked 4 days on my round all the rest on one offs which are paid more. If I worked hard I could do my round in 2 weeks.
