Any Tips - wand bounce.
« on: March 14, 2014, 02:33:20 pm »
Any tips for stopping wand bouncing on Thick tufted, heavily matted PP carpets.

I did one this morning and actually pulled my back trying to get the wand over the carpet without bouncing.I couldn't stop the wand bouncing all over the place. Was doing it on both forward and backward passes.

Is there a technique for this?

Ive had a few lately and I can safely say I hate these carpets with a vengance

Right thanks.I seem to recall reading about these a few years ago when I started out but nothing seems to have been mentioned recently.

Where do you buy them from, will most CC suppliers have them?

Good question ;D ???

Its the wand that came with my Airflex Turbo from Cleansmart.

Standard 2 jet wand I suppose.

Think they may come with ether westpak or glidemaster and they can source the Teflon glides.

Or you could turn around and go with the flow? ;D

Wayne your wand is only bouncing on the areas that have pile reversal, this is always a problem with bad reversal and all wands will bounce. A glide will help a bit.

just drop the handle of the wand down by a foot or so when cleaning, annoying but this will stop the bounce.
