Why does everything pack in at once?
« on: March 10, 2014, 07:27:12 pm »
Controller/pump trouble last week. Fitted new controller then the pump stopped a few days later, pole clamp fell off, brass elbow sprung a leek, resin gave up the ghost prematurely (yet again - deffo something not right with Tulsion these dys). Customers glass shattered, hose knackered, pole hose torn on broken flagstone, and so on.

Strange how it all happens at once  ::)roll

I think I'm spending more than I'm earning these days.

Well. I figured it's better to keep a good reputation than clear off.
I know I didn't do it but if I was in their position and my window shattered I'd blame the cleaner too.

many years ago i was cleaning a 200 year old window(very thin single pain glass)on an old cottage.my hand went straight through it and just missed my wrist on the shards of glass!! ::)roll

no way was i paying for it!the old geezer replaced it himself.i said "its about time it was replaced!" ;D

he s still a customer now 15 years on.

some customers will try and make you feel guilty and try and get you to pay for all sorts of things!

i broke the top of a rotten gate the other month.she was expecting me to pay for it!no way!i waived the clean price for that time but told her that its rotten and needs replacing and that i certainly wasnt going to pay for a new gate!!

turned up the other week and shes got a new gate fitted!! ;D ;D

the nextdoor neighbour said the original gate was about 5 years old but she didnt paint it for 2 years so thats why it was rotten!! ;)

price higher/work harder!
