Hi everyone have to have a quote in for this apartment block at start of next week. Not going to ask how much to charge as prices vary form one end of the country to another, so going to ask how long would it take using slx. There is a few windows with balconies so a small bit of ladder work, so what i would like to know is  how long for a first clean and then a regular 6 weekly clean? At nice steady pace too Many thanks Wayne.

First clean ? Hours depends on current state

You'll be surprised at how quick you ll be able to get that done once you're on top of it if you set in the right place etc.. And get a good cleaning routine going..

3/4 hours tops .. For maintainence

How I price a block of flats, I charge £5 per flat and so much for communal.
So if Thera 20 flats it would be £100 and price a little on top for the communal windows inside & out !!!! good luck with it !!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍

I would try and gauge how fussy they are too.
It's really difficult to clear out the spiders nests in the corners of sliding sashes at 40'
But +1. Stick a day and a half to 2 days 1st clean, then day rate on maintenance cleans.

I'm not going to suggest a price.  However, I will suggest the following for safety as some balconies would require a long ladder. If you can't get a brush through the balconies (is there glass or meshing there?)  either submit a quotation leaving the bottom of the balcony doors:  OR ask Alex G if it's possible to make you a special gooseneck n an "n" shape.  It doesn't look like there are any balconies higher than 2 floors above ground so should be manageable to clean like that.  Obviously such a tool will cost so price accordingly, explain the situation and that you are quoting for the first "x" number of cleans in order to cover the cost of a special tool or quote high just on first clean to cover it.  It's the sort of tool that will rarely, if ever, be needed elsewhere so it's right that their job should cover it IMO.  I did similar once with ali poles and two goosenecks joined and that was a ballbreaker - so it should be fine with light carbon.

There's at least 20 average sized properties worth of windows, so for me it would
be at least a full days wages maybe a bit more.

Thought I was slow compared to you lot. I got jobs like these that use to take 5-6 hours when I first got them and I whizz around them in under 3 hours if I get my skates on. On a slow day 4hours if Im not feeling brilliant. I don't fart ass around wondering if they'll come clean after I finish as I know from experience that they do now hence why I use extreme poles for working all day, turn the water flow up high and know every shortcut on these jobs. Them tall stairwells are the quickest windows going, wish I had more like that as they are so easy to do.
