Thanks for your patience guys!

As it stands at the moment:

The old server is back online at last - - and this is what is serving your websites & emails at the mo.

Now I can get in again I've made an up-to-date backup of every account and downloaded it to my laptop - this includes your whole website - emails - forwarders - settings,.. the whole lot as of 8am this morning

The new hosting company tsohost.com are attempting a data centre to data centre connection at the moment to get the data onto my new cloud server as it will take me days to upload the backups manually even with my super fast broadband - but I have backups safely downloaded just incase the server fails again before this process completes.

As soon as your data is on the new server & double checked we'll begin re-directing all the domains to the new host.

When its complete, I will name, shame & flame the old hosting company as fits their disgraceful behaviour!

Its stress for me Smurf - but thats nothing - -  its potentially costing every single one of my clients money! Every missed website enquiry, every invoice that can't be sent out, every missed sale,.. it all adds up.

I know....

It goes without saying you also need to find out the real reason why this has happened and make sure if the server was hacked that all vulnerabilities on the new hosting server are closed or it could happen again.

The server wasn't hacked - I went above the hosting companies head and contacted the data centre direct to find out - they wouldn't give me exact details, but they did say that much. I have my suspicions that my hosting company simply didn't pay their data centre bill on time & got cut off....

Thankfully I have half my sites with a different provider - - so any site older that a year were unaffected.

It sounds most unusual Nat why they did not say the actual cause of an outage as data centres are ultimately responsible for any server outage. The buck stops with them and all that...

The reply i got basically said "we can only discuss the account specifics with the account owner - but I can confirm there are currently no hardware issues"

VERY suspicious,... I'm planning a delivery from www.poopsenders.com to their offices,..

Not good then...

What was the hosting provider response exactly to why the server was down then?

The hosting provider blamed the data centre - - they have a few different packages in different data centres around the UK and one in the US, and a bit of googling uncovered that they've had issues with ALL of them this month,...

Still waiting for your nameservers to update Darren - - its on the new server, but the nameservers still point to the old one.

The server is actually live though, so your site should be up and running?
