I cant expand? No course not.

I will be doubling my tank size, almost, and going 2 man.

Is that not expanding?

2 man with that payload.
I use 500 litres a day on my own so would need atleast 800 litres for a 2 man but with my van I have 1200 kg payload so im fine.
berlingo/partner is a one man van.
when you realise you need a bigger van with a bigger payload you will lose lots of cash pxing your little van.

I thought you were fairly young. (I'm 31)
And was just gonna say, ignore the posts about the van being too small from those that wish to run their business in a different way to you.
You've got a great van, suitable for your work. You could do 1000l in a day with only one stop to refill.
Don't let the negativity get to you and crack on bud!

Most I've paid is £8k for my current van.  The system in it was a bit more.
The least I've ever paid was £45 for something that people told me was a car.  Mind you, that was back in the mid 70s.

Cheers mate.

There was a certain criteria that had to be met in order for me to purchase this van, as I also want a van that looks the part, which this one does.

Ive done the maths with regards to payload, I know that the tank im getting Monday morning fits, I know i'll have enough room for the other equipment that ill need.

Im also scratching my head how ive made the wrong decision?!  :o

Jealousy perhaps?

Enough on my bad van decisions anyway, this is Daz's thread.  ;D

is it not better to have your employee to trad ground floor windows while you pole tops?rather than have 2 hose reels and 2 poles etc?then 400L would  last you a day.no messing about going home at lunch etc.

i dont know but is having 2 wfps out of one small van that much quicker?ive never tried it.2 lots of hose going across roads etc?
price higher/work harder!

This is what we do at the moment Daz, but he poles and I trad  ;)

When I get the 2nd setup, id only use it on are estate work, and roads where we have loads on the same estate/street.

Some very large properties we do it would pay to use 2 poles.

Theres still a load of work that would be quickest just to pole tops and trad bottoms, the same as we have work thats quicker just to get the ladder off.

Diffrent methods work for diffrent houses, and diffrent people.

We all work in diffrent ways, and you need to find whats works best for you.
