Trying again - Couldn't post on the other thread............

Been cleaning a newish estate for 3 yrs and all properties have wooden sash w's.

On the big bay w's there are 4 large panes (easy to clean) and 2 little 10" side ones (a pain in the @).

I've chopped up an old Vikan sill brush and adapted it for use... but does anyone sell something similar??

Alternatively, could one of you wfp pros let me know how you clean 1st floor sashes without standing in the neighbours garden??

Winp o Clean you mentioned Gardiners extreme?? wouldn't I have to drop the brush down each time to swivel the head???

Gardiners swivel resineck. Simply twist the pole to whatever angle you want the brush head at. Don't need to take the pole down.

The swivel is like an extension of your wrist. Twist the pole & the brush moves angle, you can clean anything from the floor upwards with hardly any body movement. Tight spaces, awkward angles etc aren't a problem with a swivel.

You need a 55 degree gooseneck pal to get down to the bottom of windows on deep ledge sash windows.

With the swivel you can work at an angle with the whole brush head flat to the glass. Twist of the wrist and you can stay in the same position and work with the brush head in a vertical position if you wish, dead simple and cheap.

Next question!! How do you clean the sash runners 'left n right' brush is still flat on the glass.
