Ro has slowed down to a trickle. Trying to sort it out. But I really need a tank full of water for tomorrow. Could I just connect to di as a temporay measure. Its a 11 litre vessel. Would it keep the tds at o just to fill the tank tonight.

I've never ran off just a DI Vessel but it should, check your filters, especially the carbon filter. Happened to me with a fibredyne.
Remove, replace and flush well.

Replaced all pre filters stiil just a dribble. Its about 2 years old always flushed well. Tap water 340 out or ro about 8 so don't think its membranes. Could it be an airlock?

I'm not a technical person, but if it's been running two years, wouldn't see how it could be air-locked. When my membranes have gone in the past, I've never noticed a reduction in output.

Did you flush the carbon filter before connecting it back up? Thats where I think your problem lies.

Yes rah flushed all filters though about 10 minutes.

Looks like straight to the DI, will burn resin though, but needs must. Maybe someone with more knowledge of a system will be along to help. I've just worked, not really interested in the technical bits

Many thanks rah I think ill have to connect straight to di just to give me some water for tomorrow. Its new resin in a 11 litre vessel so hopefully fill my ibc before rising too high

At a tds reading off 340 the resin wont last that long , I first started with a di 300 tds and after I filled about 14 bottles the tds reading rose rapidly keep a check on reading

yes jk999 have to keep a check ordered another bag of resin lol. Just checked and does seem to be coming a bit quicker. May be I need a booster pump. Its a 200 gpd does anyone know how long it should take to fill 1000 ibc. on average. Never really checked before always seemed to have plenty pure. I haved increased my flow rate so am using more pure. Probbally using about 500 litres a day would of thought a 200gpd would handle that. Thanks for all the replys.

Remove your ballcock (not as painful as it sounds). Spray the spring etc with WD40 or silicone, wipe away the excess and refit.

200 GPD sounds a bit low for the volumes your after.

200 GPD sounds a bit low for the volumes your after.

In the winter it took us 28 hours to fill an ibc tank with a 450 gpd r/o. Tap pressure 40 psi, no booster pump, 3 to 1 waste to pure ratio.
