di vessel question
« on: January 08, 2014, 07:06:33 pm »
quick question before i buy some 11 ltr di's, are the hex head fitting better than the round type fitting on the top or does it matter and does it make a difference the bottles being different colours as i seen black, blue and a silvery looking one?

All DI vessels are the same , I take it you are not going to use an RO Unit then .

If you are buying 2 DI vessels i  would recommend getting the 11ltr  Vessels filled with MB-115 resin from www.daqua.co.uk  if you order them tonight you will get them Friday .

Plus if you provide your mobile number you will get a text telling you when to expect your delivery for instance between  10am-11am . Mike

for now pal im gonna go di route as i can fill straight into tanks or the van when i got it set up but will be looking at ro long term when im going through silly amounts of water lol!
as regards the resin i was gonna order the corwoods for £72 delivered but my local shop only does it for £74 all in so i dont mind giving the guy a bit of local business as he's given me abit of friendly advice too and if he closed down then i'd always have to order online!
does it make a difference with the di caps being hex or round though as someone told me the hex seal better?

Makes no difference to performance, I have both. If anything, the hex heads are probably a bit more robust.
