Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...back on topic please?!  :-[

Why not try a Karcher HDS1000. Smallish machine, in a frame. hot water. Decent machines from what ive heard. I think Trevor on here uses one in a trailer. I know one of the big companies, i think it might be trafalgar, uses them standard in their gum trailers.

From memory they run off a yanmar engine. single cyl diesel.

Trev's got Thermic 17's.

The HDS1000 are just a yanmar engine and a shiity pump. Trafalgar do put them in an ugly trailer yes and ask for a ridiculous price. they must expect at least £12k profit on each.

I stand corrected..  ;D

Concept, if you think the HDS1000's are expensive, dont price a Thermic17 :o ;D

I know it's a bit off subject but I do a lot of domestic and wanted to do commercial but just don't know how to go about it! How do you fellas get your commercial jobs if you don't mind me asking
if you are busy with domestics why target commercials, domestics paid on completion, no 60-90 days waiting, the likes of pub chains pay peanuts anyway, large domestic jobs 9/10  money in bank cleared by the time we return back to office, makes a hell of a difference😃

This thread puts my fleet of GX200's to shame  ;D

Best thing to do though, is research before you buy - when I was looking for mines the companies were trying to up-sell me gx390 machines, but in reality my mix of gx160/200 does me perfectly (we do fleet truck washing) 13hp would take paint off wheels and mouldings!

You asked mate and I'll just be straight forward and honest. You need a better website that will be appealing to commercial clientel. Yours is shiite.  ;)lee would you consider building a similar site for me as I think with your knowledge of the industry and obvious talent on the computer with site building I would be happy to pay you instead of someone else?

Ebay item: 170571125422

Any good?

Qwashers, good suppliers. I buy a fair bit of stuff from them. Ask smudger on here, i think it was him who just recently bought the same machine from them.

Sorry mate, I'd have to decline on that, I struggle finding time to edit our own as it is and really busy. Matt Gibson is good with wordpress too or Lee Kenny. ;-)

I thought the hds 1000 was the only bad machine karcher made and is plagued with problems with parts breaking?

I think its the pumps that are the problem. After having a better look at them, the pumps look pooe as Lee said.

The yanmar engines are a decent engine.
