hi. to date ive been buying my water in already purified. ive a tucker van mount, i never use more than 1500ltrs a week, on a 4 week i use 5-6000ltrs tops.

just been told new price of £30 per week.

would you be happy to pay that? 

have you any suggestions, ive read on here its expensive if i purify with my resin only.

at present i have nowhere to put a static tank and i can't really run a hosepipe to my van and leave to fill up.

is there any system that i can add so that i can top my tank up with the hosepipe and it purifies as required.

any info would be very much appreciated.

fill your tank up with tap water, then run a di resin tank after it to purify the water as it comes out

hi jay, have read on here it cost a lot in resin, my tds at home is about 200, got any idea how long my resin will last?

you must have family or mates who wouldnt mind you building a small shed with it all contained in it

macc were in east sussex sell resin at 63.75 plus vat
if you use resin only youll maybe  only use one sack a month if you split the comp vessels so one fills up the other used to polish, maybe two sacks worst case

i thought that water was about £10-15 per thousand litres

we have statics but are quite out of the way idd happyily sell at £15 per thousand liters otherwise there the merlin or fitting a 40x40 r/o to your system

Answer from Malc G:-

a 1000 litre tank will be approx 1 metre by 1 metre by 1 metre.
a 500 litre tank will be half that size so 1m x 1m x 500mm high or 1m high x 1m long x 500mm wide or 500mm x 500mm x 2m high.

(If you think of 250 litres being a cube of 500 x 500 x 500 you could work out where the tank could fit)

Bear in mind that the smaller the "footprint" then the stronger the base needs to be to take the wight.
