Speak to your local Chamber of commerce.. I joined wessex chambers for two reasons they offer protection against a Tax man persecution. And they can get members direct debit access for small businesses..
I have yet to take them up on the latter but I really don't want tp use them for the former...

GoCardless is much better than a bank direct debit as you are in control of collecting the payments AFTER you have cleaned a customers windows. It means there is no problem if you are behind a little bit with your schedule.
