Aaaaah I've been watching those this afternoon but your set up is way more advanced than what I assumed my initial set up would be.  I assumed your van was bigger, plus it also has side loading doors - what van do you have?  If the Berlingo is borderline then maybe a Fiat Doblo or Ford Transit Connect? An SWB anyway

Got a Vauxhall combo, it was more to show you the upright tank etc.

IF and IF you can afford it get a transit connect! But dont buy a cheap one as the will be lemons. Burnt out cams etc.

I would recommend a vauxhall combo.

My van is a 1.3 cdti, 785kg and pulls 450L easily, but i usually carry just 350

you need a tank and van mate imo.350-400L one.

100m  microbore and reel(leave reel in van)

extreme 25 and extreme brushes for ease of use.

this to me is the only way to work with back problems.im still  healing from a rib injury but managing 5 or 6 hours a day poling with this set up.

best wishes

Thanks dazmond.  I'll get the pole, brush, hose, reel from Gardiner - some say 6mm microbore, others say 5mm/8mm yellow PVC, I don't know which would be preferable, I'm residential only but 100m yes definitely.

With the reel, I was thinking, rather than winding it all the way in at the end of one house, only to get it back out at the next, would a nearby hook, maybe from the ceiling of the van, be useful to hang some of the hose on?  So it's a quick lift off, rather than wind it back out again.  Like learning which rung to extend the ladder to, presumably it will take time to learn how much hose to unwind from the reel.
