What power washer are you using?
« on: March 14, 2006, 09:09:26 pm »
What power washers are you all using, what are the good/bad points.
Did you buy new, second hand or lease.
What attachments do you like/ dislike and why.

In case you are wondering, I am just being nosey.

thats not the one that broke is it?
I have bought another one since our chats, its another Honda engine, this time a 8hp with a gearbox fitted to an interpump pump.
But I thinkthe best buy was definately the small one with the 5hp Honda engine with a cat pump, but saying that its in the machine shop at the mo as its developed a fault.
I do seem to having a problem with my Karcher it keeps shredding the drive belt that works the diesel blower.

I havent started it as yet, the place that I am getting to rent was set on fire last year so I am just waiting for the owner and his builders to get their acts together.
But I am just begining to get a bit more busier now the snow has lifted and I am just begining to get a bit of repeat business.
I am back at that country hotel tomorrow that i did last year and I am going to try and get the window cleaning contract while I am there.

Cold water Honda 13hp engine cat pump.

Done everything I have asked of it so far. Last week had to go back to a block driveway that I had cleaned the week before as the owners oil intercooler on his motor burst on it before the owner had chance to seal it, the bricks were obviously a bit pourus as I had used the fsc and turbo on them days before. Thick black oil lifted off with a little detergent and turbo lance. Very happy with the result - doubbled the payment too.

Have to try that with every oil intercooler.
