Every year i have give all my customers a chrisas card wishing them the best and thank them for continued custom, does anyone else do the same? Its gets me extra

I use to , but now too many and too busy , kids , work and social .

Good idea .

I did it once after all my December work was completed as I didn't want it to come across as begging letter .

i have been playing with the idea of having a new calling card designed for christmas next year, so the back of it says 'Happy Christmas' and tells them when the office is closed etc

that would be less expensive and less hassle!

I have considered writing all my customers a letter at Christmas........but not for long  . A letter? Blimey!

I just wish them 'all the best' verbally; maybe the odd handshake. And then only if they do it first; I don't want to appear to be hinting for a tip.
I provide them with good service and I don't feel I need to show my gratitude for that.
If they tip, I thank them and wish them 'all the best'. If they wish me 'all the best', I reciprocrate.

 i do it and its not expensive

i buy them at tesco packs of 50 about 4 quid and i give them out after each clean,I've been giving them out for about a month now lol.
tip would be nice but i don't care if i get 1 or not to be honest,just grateful for the work.
thinks its a nice touch to say thank you

no i never send cards.i usually get between £500-£600 in xmas tips(or used to!!)more like £300-£400 these days.

i think its more important to provide a good service all year.i always wish my customers all the best and if they tip they tip!

Wish i only had 500 to write out.
Every year i pop a card through there doors, customers love it and tips 5/6 fold the cost of giving each customer a simple card that they appreatiate.
Dont be a scrooge.  Its xmas.

Im not saying buy them a individual card for each customer haha packs of 25or 100 will cost around £6.00 then everynight whilst printing work sheets write them out for each day! Takes me around 15mins a night but its
A nice touch and it gets extra beer money! Customers forget

No. As far as I know, I haven't lost a single custy because they didn't get a card from me. Smacks of begging for a Christmas tip.

Well i doubt a customer would say " im cancelling you as i never got a christmas card" lighten up, its a chance to show professionalism and  let the  customers know you take your business seriously and thank each of them for their continued custom
