Not the answer you want but i have a SLX35  and think its a great pole, used it today on a block of flats, its not too heavy and has just the right amount of flex in it...IMO

SLX is a great pole but above 30ft I would go for something better like an xtreme.
If your budget allows.

Depends how often you intend using it.
I recommend getting a slx 25 or 30 and adding the extra sections when needed to make it to smax39
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014

i had a 40ft supermax which is basically the same pole but a foot longer.to be honest i was very disappointed with the flex in it at full stretch and it felt heavy esp when cleaning large velux windows or solar panels on roofs.i sold it and bought an extreme 47.

the extreme 47 is a much lighter and more rigid pole.great for solar panels, velux and high windows.much easier on the shoulders and arms as well.
price higher/work harder!

I have an slx 35 and I'm not happy with the flex. I use it at full stretch for some jobs and it simply is not ideal. I will be investing in some extreme poles soon.

Depends what and how long your using it for?
I have the slx39 with carbon goose neck and extreme brush,I have been using  it today on a block of flats.
Good pole light and still feels strong and still compact when closed.
I use mine 2-3 days a month on commercial so it serves my needs,an extreme pole will cost you more than double.

If it's commercial work, you cant beat an Sl2 (modular) or an extreme if you like telescopic.

I started this thread before I seen the import thread.
Yes I am looking into a import ( Not Modular)  but it depends on a few issues first, if not , I will stick with the SLX 39
