For £99 you got amazing value for money there!

Do you have access to it to make changes & improvements in the future?

Adwords is funny. I've spent £100+ one month for practically no return.
Spent a tenner another month and got hundreds back.

Pretty mad.. Did you at least get phone calls that month?
What's your average spend and return at least genuine Enquiries?

Yeah, I get calls every month.
I try to vet them a bit more though.
If they start off with something negative about their old shiner I don't bother. Or if he 'just stopped coming' I don't bother either.
I'm winding right down.
Spend about £20-£30pcm now.
Probably brings in £150-£200 work. Perhaps half that gets converted to regulars.
I'm nearly at capacity so getting very fussy about who I want to take on though.
Actually had a few who I wanted but they wouldn't sign up to gocardless so didn't take them on either. Kind of a shame but I'm not taking punts anymore. And one offs I want pre-payment in full.
I'm sure I've 'lost' money doing things like this but I've definitely decreased my ballache of chasing money.

So do you actually ask them to order the clean and pay via online banking before you turn up right ;)?

Lol.
You can make it pay bud.

I just say (with no tone if distrust or any funny business or anything) for first cleans or one offs we do require pre-payment in full. I've only had one person say they didn't want to pay in the last year or so. Funny enough I suspected a messer. Guess I'll never no. But I'm not bothered...
Did one today where I said that I needed paying and they could pay online or leave cash hidden somewhere.
They paid online last night.
As it happens, he came home half way through the clean today.
Made me a cup of tea and came on as a regular.
I've found it's all in how you say it, re prepayment. Vast majority of people don't mind, in my experience, if you're not aggy about it.

I don't know how yore fixed workwise but as soon as you don't 'need' the money. It'll flood in.
If you're not desperate but appreciate the money, it comes across to the customer.
That confidence is reflected.
Try 'picturing' yourself at that point. Bet you get more jobs like that.
Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs-just my experience.

It's true Prepayment works I have also done that before , but not on a large scale as when you canvass it puts you on a disadvantage and isn't easy ;
When they ring its a different matter!

So do you simply price it at say 200% ask them to book you in which is simple and fun via online banking/site do your very best then offer them a regular clean at 100% or xyz?
Some bite some dont right ?
End of the day as long as that phone is ringing you Are onto a winner!

Pretty much bud.
I try to 'give them information' rather than 'upsell'
Job I did yesterday. £40-one off.
I just said that he'd paid £40 for a first clean but if he was regular, at least every month, it would only be £30.
Didn't push it. Just gave him the information.
Email came in this morning, after he'd checked they were ok.
Confirming start up.
Play it relaxed but confident. Usually works for me.
