Here we go!  We can supply round ones and 110Volt they are £85 more expensive!  When do you want one because they take about 3 weeks to order?  Do you want one?

No thank you...I already have a Numatic with a gorilla bucket and a pathetic capacity...remember. You just asked about improving your gutter system...I was merely providing you with feedback.

I was however asking for feedback on our Vacs not your Numatic.  I already have enough feedback from EX NUMATIC Owners who have seen the light

I have been offered a Honda gennie GX270 5kva for £400. - locally.

Would this power the gutter vac?

The higher 4200 watt vacs ideally need 6kva

I have been using the gutter vac with the filter in at all times.
IT seems like I shouldn't have been doing this?!

Should I remove the filter for normal wet gutter cleaning? Or does the filter prevent any damage to the unit?

It's a catch-tewnty-two as I have kackered a few motors because of crap being sucked up through without using the drum filter. Keeping the filter in all the time especialy when sucking up sludge the drum filter will need cleaning otherwise the vac will loose suction so needs to be removed and hosed through regularly.

Now I only use a wet vac with the drum filter out when just wanting to suck up water.

Hope this helps and saves you a few bob on knackering motors. ;)

I have found the sucking is still good enough the the filter in so I will keep it in then.
I hose it out after every job to keep it clean.
