You can have high pressure and high temperature without any problems, it's all about the connectors and how you attach the hose. Like you, my hose used to come off all the time.  I'll try and get some pictures this afternoon.

i use radiator hose from motor factors 4 quid ,how did you plumb your heater to water suply before pump or after pump daz?

after pump dave.some people on this thread dont listen!I DONT NEED ANYTHING OTHER THAN WASHING MACHINE HOSE AND A RECTUS 26 CONNECTOR FROM HOT OUTLET ON UNIT TO HOSE REEL OUTSIDE CONNECTION!thats all fine just need to tighten the screw thread.

its the inside of the reel that i fit my microbore to thats the problem!im gonna have a tinker now to get everything tight.

ill post some pics later on a different thread.

if you want it tight, jubali clip it and then use a number 7 socket to turn the clip (not screwdriver) you will get it really tight that way, and you can use two if you like

Daz I use X2 Jubilee clips to tighten hose to inner reel

I would have thought O clips would be better than having a jubilee clip inside the reel.

You need a brass fitting with bigger diameter barb ie if your hose is 8mm id get barb of 10 mm then use 2 jubilee or O clips to secure.

ive put 2 jubilee clips really tight on hose over barb but it fits on easily!i use 6 mm thermobore but should of got the 8mm barb!i think ill order one now!! ::)roll

Thermobore grows bigger too after hot useage  ;D
