too early to canvass?

alrite lads

going to make big effort to bring in lot of new work in next 2 weeks! i normally canvass between 2pm and 6pm, is doing it earlier in the day  acceptable or would people get annoyed with you knocking on their doors that early?

Don't think you'd upset anyone Tom.
If the curtains are all drawn perhaps give them a miss.
Perhaps the most successful hours to canvass would be between 5pm & 8pm

any canvassing is good canvassing

my canvasser has been doing quite well between 10 and 3 ... sure 5 to 8pm prob better but im still up about 10 jobs in 2 days
