You've been done matey - that's watered down g101
Yes g101 works very well wet the surface to be cleaned spray on and clean

Your better off buying the proper strength autosmart g101 and diluting it yourself

You can buy 5 litres of g101 for less than £20 quid and will make about 50 to 100 litres watered down,go and contact autosmart and find your local agent!

virosol is about £6-50 per 5 litre tub.very good for dirty roofs and fascias in a 5l pressure sprayer.lasts ages as well.no worries if it dries on glass either as its easy to remove with a bit of scrubbing and rinsing.

thats great but if you dont live somewhere where you can get virosol is rised to about £20 with delivery

Next time you need to make an order of £40 or more get some virasol from cleaning spot it's about 5.50 with fee delivery.

I always tell people, save ya money and use water on its own from the customers tap!!!! I do on average 3-4 connies every week and have done over the last 9 years. I bought some recommended cleaner about 5 years ago. the job took longer as i had to wash the "cleaner" off after!!!

I still have 25ltrs left in my garage!!

I must disagree it takes less than a minute to coat a roof in this product and there's far less work needed on cleaning the roof after hence saving time.. Also it gets deep into the plastic giving a much more intense clean.. Sometimes water isn't powerful enough for tired looking whites leaving the grey effect..

I've cleaned many SFG's with just water and had great results every time, however heavy soiling takes more effort so a chem needs to be used to get deeper into the surface and still clean in the same time as a lightweight clean.

We now as a matter of course apply g101 and I upswell it to the customer for a better end result

no, not at all. if upvc is off white, you can only use a cream cleaner to bring it back to white. as far as roof panels and surface grime, just use water.

If individuals want to use any other stuff, up to them, im only advising what ive learnt over the years.

There is also something i use after the upvc is clean that gives it a deep shine, gives uv protection, and in fact makes it look brand new!!!

if pvc has gone grey over time thats restorative job and
not a cleaning issue far as im concerned.if i was to provide
a restoration service which i dont i would be charging many
times more than what generally works out at £40per hour
for my wash down service.

i generally use just water but on occasions ive used
tfr mixed with some white vinnegar

hey darren,

ive got a big tub of g101 in my shed but stopped using it because someone on here said it could mark or stain upvc if left on too long.  with employees working for me i dont want to trust them with something that could, with a little carelessness, cause damage.  have you any thoughts on this?

Paul, you have not been had, you have got what you paid for (albeit quite expensive for what it is)
I bought and tried some too and it works well for what you need it for.
I am not going to add fuel to the fire and speculate as to if it was diluted or a rebadged product at 3 or 4 x the price. All I will say is its ok just as the tfr I now buy from a local auto shop is and thats much better value.
