Hi All,
It's been nearly a year since I posted asking questions about how to set up charities and get support for a friend of mine who had a fall and is now paralysed from the neck down.
Thanks for all your advice, I just wanted to post here to update you all with his situation.
He's been living in hospital for nearly a YEAR now. A LOAD of us are doing various things to raise money to enable him to come home. The current goal is £15.000 for a head operated wheelchair. Through the efforts of friends and family organising garden parties and running marathons etc we're up to 8.5k so far, but we've got a long way to go. Sunshine Cleaning had a blog post about him, you can read it here>>>>
http://www.sunshine-cleaning.net/3/post/2013/08/the-most-positive-man-i-know.htmlSo PLEASE, if you can spare a couple of quids for a lovely bloke who was just unfortunate, please click the link here,
https://www.facebook.com/darronsfund, and look for the 'donate' tab (mid right of the page, next to 'photos').
I'm WFP but still use ladders for flat roofs, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to use them, I think of him.
So please, if you're grateful that you've still got the use of your limbs,
1. Click the link and look for the donate tab.
2. Make a small donation.
3. 'Like' Darronsfund if you're on Facebook, and share the page far and wide, if we all pull together we can make a real difference to Darron.
Thanks for listening, and thanks in advance to those who help out.
Regards,
Jason
