Cheers for the thought paul, its ok though i have loads of barrels laying in garage gaining dust, he can use them.

Why doesn't he sell the car to get a van and be more practical. That's what I had to do.

Use a trailer.

Get a 400kg top end camping trailer second hand (like I did) (£150/200)

Put a 200L tank in (maybe plus immersion plus a couple of barrels) plus 100m of microbore (like I did)

No bad back, no lifting in and out. Enough water for a steady 4/5 hours. Small enough to manoeuvre single handed.

You soon learn to reverse.
