Is it any wonder that wfp window cleaning has such a bad reputation
after reading some of these replies.
The customer has every right to complain you left the bristles in his frames.
Doesn't matter if the beading was loose or not you should have removed them.
Call round and explain to him how the beading works and that new windows can only
be removed from inside the house even with the beading removed.
Get a ladder and remove the bristles.
I have a 4.6 metre folding ladder which I carry inside the van its great for when
this happens.
I think your missing the point! I accept full responsibility for the bristles, even though if the frames were not so crap it wouldn't of happened. I also trad,a lot and also have experienced problems with customers crap Windows, such as bad rubbers that smear the frames, which incidentally doesn't occur with wfp as much.so having a pop at 1 method over another is besides the point! I fully intend to resolve the matter with the customer, I just don't want someone giving a quote for new windows unless there's a simpler cheaper resolution.we all clean Windows, just in different ways, my customer skills are as good as any, wether I've a squeegee or pole in hand.
Firstly this is not a dig at water fed pole cleaning or trad.
I was getting at the blame the customer attitude because the frames are not perfect.
This was from the replies and not your post.
I understand that there are customers who complain about everything and nothing
but in this case he did have a point.
Its our job to know when a frame might be problem not the customers so why would you
expect him to replace your brush.
A lot of new customers to wfp cleaning methods don't understand it and can go overboard
when something happens.
Again its our job to assure them that its does give excellent results when done right.
