Just got an email for 15% off the mk3xl so does this mean their is a newer lighter one due out soon  ??? ???

Hi Paul,

No, it's just a promotion this weekend.

When we have a new model we've always released it first with an offer for existing customers, then sold off remaining stock of the previous version.  This week we found a few more of the previous version Mk3Ls that had been hiding in the workshop.  About half of them have already sold in the last couple of days.
