Took it on and to be honest, even before the problems I was only ever going to break even, seriously cost me some money now but as you say, we knew it was a first job.

I appreciate the client, who is long standing having the faith in me.

On more than one occasion on Friday I said 'pack up' we're bailing out on this one but it will be done and though I may be out of pocket it will give me that experience.

Lee - The main client is a painting & decorating firm so all that side is pretty much sown up. They have created a USP via this set up that we will be proud to be part of and should give them more work and us a lot more work.

I'm loving the potential.

I have looked at a Greco airless sprayer before and the guy where I have my unit has a powder coating set up, big enough to put a car into, so the network is there already.

Just an update on this.

The system has been taken into a local plant place, no Chris Snott, (I see we are using 'N's in other topics) that isn't garden plants.

A full service is being carried out, one of the filter alone is costing £200.00 and I am expecting the end cost to be around £700.00 - not as bad as I thought!

I should have had a full service before we put it out there but better late than never.

I have a wall to clean on a Sainsbury's next week and again I will be trying to get pictures and a bit of video for the people on here but more importantly for the website at Macblast Uk.

I hope we have a better time with it than we did last week in London!

Still waiting for a lambswool filter to come in on this one, so it is still being serviced.

Question for Carl or Chris -

The pot has a rubber bung on it that closes the pot up as it is building pressure, the water, media & air are mixed and as the handle is pressed you get the obvious release of all three components.

If I want to add soda blasting to the service I doubt I can use the same pot, it can be emptied by a quick release at the bottom but if I want a quick change around the pot wont be dry enough.

There is enough room at the side of the pot to put one just for soda, what else is required, is it that simple, is there anything I have missed or is there another way of doing it?

Why soda?
Why the need for a "quick" swap over ? You could buy a separate pot ,deadman etc and fit it to your trailer you have the expensive part in the compressor .
Do farrow not do different medias they recommend (glass?) .

I know I wont get the pot dry for soda.

Looking for an alternative option, to work alongside it. You know how clean soda is, cleaner than probably anything other than dry ice.

I have a tonne of glass up at the unit.

Yes - they have come away from Olivine now because of the asbestos link but I am not sure if they sell soda.

The scenario would be that I go and price some work and they want a cleaner option. I don't want to pull the system apart so I have a 'dry' works pot and hoses

Home page needs to be combined with the services page. Whilst I appreciate you are informing me of the positive points of the farrow system i am not there to buy one. I am there for "sandblasting" or paint/coatings removal...is this what you do? I cant really tell from your front page...i think i'll look elsewhere.

Keywords like "paint removal" " "coatings removal" "sandblasting " etc your text needs to be rich in these type of phrases...without being a s*** read. Generic terms that people will be searching for.

"safety infomation"...I dont give a "fu** if you get silicosis so i don,t want to read a medical document..I want to know if you can remove 20 years of crap from the bottom of my yacht  

"multi coloured paint removal" ..i liike this section  ....Why should i use you ? what do you offer that others don't ? Mobile ,anywhere ,anytime,no problem,yes we can do that.

I like the overall layout of the site it's clean .I would have a contact form on every page. Don't like mac-blast ...sounds like some second rate food item. Why did you not go M-blast..?

There never right websites  they need to change and evolve. I like the site just it needs a few things changing. I think you have about 30 seconds from when i land on your home page to convince me i am in the right place.
You on  a personal level might not even like the site you end up with!  But you only have 30 seconds .

I am working on a subcontractor assessment, that is turning into an epic. been on it for days now.

It's a wet blaster then
