I'm sick of drinking warm drinks in the van, even when it's not sunny my primastar is always warm inside!
Anyone have one of them cigarette lighter cool boxes? And how long do they take to cool things?

I don't have time to stop for drinks, so I just have a two litre intravenous drip taped to my back

I just fill my two 1 litre bottles up 1/3 and put them in the freezer the night before so the bottom third is ice the next day. Stays very cold most if not all day especially if its in a cool bag and it keeps everything in the coolbag cool as well.

Do you leave the cooler box on over night or don't you need to?

Wouldnt leave on overnight, flatten your batt. TBH they do make things cooler, but not icy cold.

Same here, I use one of those stainless steel flasks and cold drinks stay cold all day.

You can get a 240v mains lead to cool it overnight before using in the van, they keep drinks cool but can be a bit noisy.

Used to run one off the main batt and switch off overnight, but if you forget
So now I just wedge drink bottles against tank which seems to keep them nice and cool.
