I don't really advertise the pressure washing side of things, al the work comes from existing customers.

It makes a nice change of pace especially in this weather,

My right arm got burnt last week

I have looked like I am wearing a tomato on my shoulders a couple of times this last week or two.

It is the water vapour

You should get the photos on your site, they are good and will bring more work in.

Why oh Why have you started the job with out agreeing the price first with the customer, I don't care who the customer is ALWAYS agree on the price before you start.

If you say its £2000 and he says, Oh I thought it was going to be around £1000 and you have done the job , you will have a problem !
This is the season for fine wine, and drunken friends, enjoy this moment, for this moment is your life.

Is that because of all the driving around you did with your arm out the window? Seems you did very little last week!  ;)

I would consider sealing that tennis court too if the Tarmac is good. What colour is it? You can get black, green and red sealer. The cleaning will of course be to a high standard, but sealing it will give a great finish.

Price wise, is it 1 man on the job or 21 hours with 2/3 men?  If its one man, you gotta be looking at £60/£70 per hour which takes in your materials and something no one else has mentioned, your expertise. Pricing a job like that is not just materials and time, but drawing on your skill set too.

Because that's what we have done before, they are the ones the said just do it not me. If i knew that it was going to be an issue, then I would have prices it before.

Besides its not him its her, and shes down to earth.

They have recently spent £10,000 on a 30m2 of tiled floor. I dont think she will care about £2000.00 for over 1000m2 of cleaning

1st rule in business, agree on a price BEFORE you start a job, no matter who the customer is or what your relationship is with them ,or even when they say " just do it " ,

I am not having a go at you Alex , it just that I personally would not do any job without agreeing the price , no matter what the circumstances were.

I do agree with you, and I wouldn't do it for any of my other customers, but this one wont mess me around.
