Brand Image / Identity
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:36:47 pm »
Ok so 2 years ago I went self employed and set up my business

1 year ago a added Window Cleaning

At the start I sought advice from someone I knew in the marketing world

I threw a few ideas around on names etc... And eventually decided on what i have

A logo was done and have had it throughout

So basically I'm seeking views ideas feedback on if anyone has started out with something and tweaked it as they've went along

I'm not seeking a Name change as I like what I have it's th whole branding identity logo thing I'm thinking of tweaking and changing ....to what and how I have no idea ...

It's just one of those itchy feet feelings I have about th whole thing and the van graphics logo etc....

Any input appreciated

Ta
Paul

Hello Paul mate hope your well mate , i remember the last time i spoke to you the upholstery cleaning was declining and the window cleaning was doing so much better for you maybe you need to redesign your website to focus more on window cleaning .

And the other stuff as an add on your a good window cleaner mate and you have the skill and drive to succeed i am having a new website built at the moment which i know  will set me apart form the local competition and one step beyond . due to the website designer and my own input

Got some new flyers going out got 5000 double sided which i will drop when new website is up and running i defo think the design i have along with new website will push the business to the next level .

Once i get Flyers i will email you an exclusive pic alone  it is headlining bullet pointing to get customers on board IMHO . Expecting them next week .

You did me a good turn me i am more than happy to help you out , major drive on the go at the moment . Mike

That's great stuff and good to hear youre sorting a website and other buts n pieces mate ... You will do well you know your game of that I'm sure ... And I never did you a favour you done me one to deliver on that job in that timescale

You're right re the other side ..., windows has can crazy for me tbh ... Since I set it up last may .... However with no significant push till sept ish last year .... Since then well without going Into detail it's rocketed ... And I don't or have never canvassed ... And some would be shocked what I've got ...

Guess I'm at a cross roads re putting all my eggs in the one basket ...

Just after some ideas ... So Intereted in probing th changes ... Not business name but logo tweak and other things ,

Keep me posted how you're doing mate if I can help in any way let me know

Dilemmas  Huh Huh

I used to be called "Souhern Cleaning Services" and offered window cleaning, gutters, fascias & soffits etc...

I started to realise that "just" window cleaning was the way to go as it offered regular repeat income so I chaged my business name and only now concentrate on window cleaning - Its really helped me to focus and pull in more regular repeat work.

Couldn't agree more .. Nail on head springs to mind

Ad that's why I need i maybe need to re focus and not so much re name like you did as I believe I can keep my current k2 name ... Just maybe re invent the logo or something ... Re do the van graphics ... Few website changes so it all ties in (as its does now ) ...

Just got an Intuition this is what I need to do ...

And like most once you plant an idea in your head then it's difficult to get rid

Yeah mine was down to intuition to... It kept nagging away in the back of my mind for months just to concentrate on window cleaning and change the business name.

K2 Window Cleaning would be a good name if you were to slightly change it?

Andy :-)

And get rid of those two water drops in the letter 'I' on your web page title. They're capital letters so there isn't a dot on the letter 'I'.

Yip same thought

I use the logo name etc.. To go with a few different tag lines

Like "for a peak finish " etc.. Maybe "for a peak shine " or something Lang that lines would work with k2 window cleaning - with a slight logo tweak

All good feedback though chaps thanks

And take on board the water drops above the "I"  matt

Thanks
