what would you recommend in preference to a standard microsplitter thats more complex
Formula90 , ultimatemaster .. whichever , im not too hung up on chemical brands .
most of the time it makes little difference what you use .
'Microsplitter ' is probably all you need most of the time also . Fine as long as you realize what your paying for .
It seems made up pseudo scientific waffle ... designed to sell a 'new cleaning concept ' in its day , which is really selling a cheap to manufacture consumable and create a niche .
So 'microsplitter' is just sodium tripolyphosphate(STP) in its original definition , probably started by these guys ..
http://onestep-europe.de/english/index.htmSPM is washing soda (sodium carbonate ) and oxidizer .... that would seem to me to be reinventing the definition of microsplitter as it shares nothing in common with the original .
Most carpet powders out there contain either STP or washing soda or both .
Cost wise something like Ashbys Supreme looks like good value ... £ 33 for
10kg of 65% washing soda - 25% STP - and the rest surfactant / perfume etc
add some oxidizer when needed .
