Hi guys,

Jumped om here from cc section. I'm being asked by a client of mine to provide a quote for 8 weekly cleans for 3 bedroom semi detached house. There is 4 windows + door in the front, same quantity in the back and side door + 3 side windows. There is side access as well, so cleaning when custy is absent is no issue. I know prices vary big time depend on location mostly, but what would you charge on average?

£10 give or take £2, it's only 10 minutes work from pulling up to driving off and if you have others at the same stop then brilliant.

Where I am in Essex, that would be about the price obviously some will be a lot more expensive and some will be a lot cheaper. As a two man team I would aim to get 35-40 of these places done in a day, not bad turnover. They are only 3 bed semidetached.

Romford (the op location) is just about 10 minutes from me but the prices would jump up a fair amount, maybe 30% because it's closer to London.

Would you charge a bit more on the first clean because of being dirtier?

I would charge at least double for the first time unless I was convinced that they were going to be a regular and I really wanted the job, if it was a one off I'd charge even more.  That amount of houses is entirely possible, today we did 38 houses between 9:30am (late start due to equipment malfunction) and 3pm, when windows are cleaned with wfp on a regular basis they don't take long.

  i would say £15 but on a first clean i would say £30 always charge twice for first clean mate and it depends on how many windows to i charge about £1.20 per window thats how i ruffly work it out somewhere along them lines anyway.

Thanks for that , but im happily plodding away earning £8 an hr .
