Hi
I am a traditional window cleaner but have recently purcased a wfp. I have a block of flats (up to 3/4storey) to clean. They have not been cleaned for some time and the PVC frames and sills are green! What type of bush should I use? Should I use a different brush to clean the frames/sills first? What type? Should I then change to a different brush to clean the windows?

matt i would use a standard supalite brush (medium mixed bristle) from gardiners if they are filthy on a first clean then extreme version of this brush on maintenance cleans.

gardiners sell the lightest brushes available on the market which is very important at height to reduce strain.

Me personally I would say gardiner super lite xtreme mono at this height.. It's a very light weight brush has very good action on glass and frames.. Spray a drop of virosol into your brush head cleaning frames firstly then glass after

You are going to get a few different answers mate but a fairly stiff bristled brush which will deal with baked on bird muck etc it has to be an Xtreme Standard .

But this week i have used the Xtreme Soft which does and good job and sills and frames the bristles almost melt on to glass and frames and get into the corners of the frames quite easily without the need for much pressure which is important at the height you have mentioned .

I prefer the extreme mono dual trim but you won't go far wrong with any of the brushes already mentioned
