i assume james, you want to know the water costs, running your ro at 50% product to 50% waste  ???
find out from the water company how much they charge for water per cubic meter ( 1000ltrs ) and your cost would be half that,
250lts of product water & 250 ltrs of waste water = 500 ltrs total.
also water tds is your ro producing before the di, as you can then factor in the price of the resin.

I fitted a new 40/40 RO membrane recently and noticed the TDS was high. I left it flushing with the waste valve wide open for a couple of hours and it now runs pure into the tank.

i doubt it will cost that much,
i " think " its about £2 per 1000ltrs so more like a quid per day for 250 ltrs, but dont hold me to that.
im sure there will be someone along soon who has a water meter who will put me right.

how you getting on with your new system then mate, you tangling yourself in knots with the hose  ;D

pmsl re new system james tying yourself in knots.

that list of of things that the hose will catch on will grow and grow...

wheelie bins, slight raised anything even odd bit of plant bush matter etc etc.

i hate the days that despite keeping a vigil it seems to catch on anything and everything.

worth thinking about keeping your hose reel line as straight as you can as well so when you wind it in, it doesnt knot up, coz thats annoying too. lol
