They are full fibreglass, the slx has a carbon base section with an extra insulating layer over the top of it, so it's not really hybrid, it has an added layer, and no less carbon fibre.

That's what I thought.
I knew the slx has a thin layer on the base section for insulation.
The Phoenix isn't a hybrid in the fact that each section is a mix of carbon & fibreglass.
But its not a full carbon pole either if the base section is made entirely from fibreglass.
That in itself doesn't make it a bad pole though imo.
I would've thought Facelift would be able to sell it a fair bit cheaper than an slx if this is the case.
