I saw a post here saying about the different poles available, but there was not much info on this or detail. Is there a definitive answer to if Omnipole or Brodex are best or should I go with Gardiners'? They look expensive, but are they lighter?

I would say Omnipole and Brodex are about a decade behind gardiners in terms of quality and lightness
and customer service,

there are some close rivals - like facelift and x-line and maybe elite but not having used them i can not
comment - best to search a few threads
