Those with WFP that still Trad
« on: April 03, 2013, 06:28:29 pm »
Hi Fellas, Just curious as I currently use wfp and trad, what you use in your bucket when tradding. I normally use ettoree squeegee off with tap water.

However I am going to start using pure water with some squeegee off or ecover but not as much just a touch.

I'm hoping this would also mean having to detail less as any residue should dry clear? I mean when a very small amount is left round edges anything major left behind would still be microfibre clothed off.

Does anyone do this at the moment? Just curious about what others find and what others use.

Thanks
Tom

I find pure water doesn't glide as much as tap water so I've stopped using it.
I used to use whatever was the cheapest washing up liquid was in the shop, they all work fine with hardly any detailing if your technique's right.
Lately I bought some ecover which is fine and you don't need much in the bucket so buying cheaper alternatives is probably a false economy.

Yep get the cheapest possible as you dont want strong detergent, always detail if you dont its like using WFP but leaving the frames.

Ditto.

Or maybe I use GG4. I can never remember.

don't do much tradding - mainly internal stuff   - hot pure water with a squirt of ecover and a splash of meths topped off with a splosh of white vinegar  ;D

dont clean the windows any better but the customer certainly knows you've been in the room  ;D

Tap n fairy... But I do find the original green fairy is much better than say the scented ones as its thicker it seems to last alot longer before it needs changing
