I've lost a few to a trad guy.
I do sills though.
Some people just prefer it.

This is in direct contradiction to anything i've experienced. What i can't understand though is how are you not wiping sills? Or you are and its not good enough? Whats the full storey [pardon the pun]?

Its the brush angle that's important at this height if you haven't a sill brush. Usually the brush head at the right angle to clean the sills is too acute to work comfortably on the windows, especially across the top.

The answer is to clean the windows as normal, then collapse the pole, change the brush head angle and put it up again to clean the cills. Doesn't take long, but usually too much trouble to do it.

We have found the splayed brushes help a little in this regard and are a better compromise, but not as ideal as a cill brush.

Can I ask how many of you would be window cleaners if wfp was not around?

As we use wfp ourselves every day, but before that 3 story off a ladder was not a problem for me.

I think a lot of window cleaners now are only window cleaners because they don't have to climb a ladder.

That's the whole point though Roy. 2 left hands and a fear of heights, hmmm let's see, I know, I'll try window cleaning!!! If I have to clean insides, I'll tell the custy to get stuffed and dump them, or I'll use one of those housewife thingies from Karcher!!!  ;D

Seeing lots of shiny new vans around lads?  :D
No still don't understand, I must be thick
