Battery in trolley.
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:43:02 pm »
A couple of times in the last two weeks my Pure Freedom trolley battery has not charged properly overnight. I go to work and by mid morning it is just about flat. It isn't every time, as last week it wa fine, but mid morning today after a weekend charging I had to abandon work. Does this mean the battery is dying?

It is the charger that came with it. It just looks like a transformer type thing. They are actually golf cart batteries. The battery is 2 1/2 years old. It's the intermittent failure that's confusing. I was all set to order one last week, but thought I will just charge it and it charged fine and lasted fine.  ???

I am coming to the view I have a dodgy connection as it has charged up to 13.5 in an afternoon from 11.5. I am pretty sure it was 11.9 on Friday when I connected it up, so I am thinking it never charged over the weekend despite being plugged in.

I have the same problem. It's lasts an hour at the most. I gathered I need a new battery.

2 and half years is good going for the bTtery, maybe its starting to show weekness with holding charge.
